  • Pre-clean review We look for staining, drainage patterns, surface wear, and logistics expectations before work begins.
  • Careful wash process The surface is cleaned with a method tailored to the surface, mindful of the surrounding property.
  • Protective sealant Sealing helps resist water, dirt, salt, and staining so maintenance is easier and the surface lasts longer. A quality penetrating sealer lasts 5–10 years depending on foot traffic before it needs a fresh coat.

Concrete sealing

Concrete sealing in McKinney, TX

R.E. Clean & Seal is a McKinney concrete cleaning and sealing company. We seal driveways, patios, sidewalks, and pool decks with a penetrating silane/siloxane sealer. It soaks into the pores of the concrete and leaves no film, so the surface keeps its natural look and texture while water beads up and runs off.

A good seal increases concrete lifespan 50–80% and lasts 5–10 years depending on foot traffic. That is the reason to seal: stains, water, and grit stay on top where a rinse takes them off, instead of soaking into the slab.

Every sealing job is two visits. Visit one is a wash matched to the surface. Visit two is the seal, once the concrete is dry. We don't seal over oil, and we will tell you when cleaning alone is enough.

Driveways are most of our sealing work. See driveway cleaning and sealing in McKinney.

Questions

Common questions

  • How often should you seal a driveway in North Texas?

A penetrating silane/siloxane seal on a McKinney driveway lasts 5–10 years depending on foot traffic before it needs a fresh coat. We check with a simple water test: if water stops beading and starts soaking in, it is time.
  • Should I seal my driveway after washing?

After a wash in McKinney, seal the driveway once it is dry with a penetrating silane/siloxane sealer. That seal increases concrete lifespan 50–80% and lasts 5–10 years depending on foot traffic. It soaks into the concrete instead of sitting on it as a film. We wash, then come back to seal.
  • Silane/siloxane or acrylic sealer: which is better for a Texas driveway?

Penetrating silane/siloxane for most Texas driveways and pool decks. It soaks into the concrete and helps water bead without a plastic film look. Acrylic and other glossy film sealers sit on top and can peel or get slick. That's what we put on driveways and patios.
  • Can you seal over oil stains?

Not until the oil is out. We clean it first with an enzyme cleaner and hot water so it lifts out of the pores, then seal once the slab is clean and dry. Very old stains can leave a light shadow; we'll tell you before we start.
  • How long before you can park after sealing?

Stay off it for 24 hours after sealing, including foot traffic. We'll tell you when it's ready to park on. Cleaning and sealing are two visits, and we only seal once the concrete is dry.
  • Do you wash houses or roofs?

We stick to concrete and masonry: driveways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, and light commercial walks and entries. Not house siding or roofs.
  • Can I just get my concrete cleaned without sealing?

Yes. Clean-only is a normal job for us. We wash the surface and tell you honestly whether a seal is worth adding later. No package forces both.
  • What does it cost to clean and seal a driveway?

It depends on the size, the surface, any oil or heavy staining, and whether you want clean-only or clean and seal. Call (469) 343-4010 or use Request a Free Quote, and we'll put together a clear estimate with no mystery line items.
  • Will sealing fix cracks?

No. A penetrating sealer doesn't repair cracks or settling. We point out cracks we find during the wash so you know what you have before you decide on a seal.
  • Do I need to seal my pool deck, and will it be slippery?

Sealing helps a pool deck last. Pool water, salt, and sun wear on bare concrete, and a seal keeps water beading on top instead of soaking in. A penetrating silane/siloxane seal leaves no film or gloss, so the deck keeps the texture it had before sealing. We don't put wet-look or glossy coatings on pool decks.
  • Do you clean pavers and brick, or remove efflorescence and rust?

Yes. We clean and seal pavers, brick, and other masonry, and we remove efflorescence (the white, chalky residue) and rust stains.
  • What towns do you serve?

McKinney is home base. We also serve Allen, Frisco, Plano, Prosper, Celina, Melissa, Fairview, Princeton, Anna, Wylie, Murphy, and Parker.
